Forge Fitness Terms of Service

Effective date: September 30, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Forge Fitness iPhone app. They are written in plain English on purpose. By using the app, you agree to them.

Forge Fitness is made by Aitken Enterprise LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“we”, “us”). Contact: useforgefitness@gmail.com

What Forge Fitness is

Forge Fitness is a training app for lifting and running. It records the sets you lift and the runs you log, reads recovery data you choose to connect, suggests your training, and shows you patterns in your own numbers over time.

What Forge Fitness is not

The app is not a doctor, a physiotherapist, or a personal trainer, and nothing in it is medical advice. That includes the in-app coach, which answers from your own numbers and general training knowledge.

The app suggests training targets and describes how your recovery relates to your training. Those suggestions are calculated from numbers you logged, using published formulas and documented rules of thumb. They are information, not instructions, and they cannot see you, your form, your injuries, or your medical history.

• Talk to a qualified professional before starting or changing a training program, especially if you have an injury or a health condition.
• Never continue a lift that hurts because the app suggested a weight.
• Recovery figures such as HRV, resting heart rate and sleep are wellness data, not diagnostics. They cannot detect, diagnose or rule out illness.
• Cycle-related information in the app is general and educational. It is not contraception, not a fertility tool, and not a substitute for medical care.

You are responsible for your own training decisions.

Your data, and who holds it

Forge Fitness has no accounts and no servers of ours. Your training data lives on your device, and syncs through your own iCloud if you have iCloud enabled. That means:

• You own your training data. We have no copy of it and cannot retrieve, restore, or hand it to anyone.
• If you lose your device and have no iCloud backup, your data is gone. We cannot recover it.
• Deleting the app deletes the data on that device.

The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is stored and what is shared. It forms part of these terms.

Friends, and what other people can see

The Friends leaderboard is optional. If you join it, other people who have your friend code can see a display name you choose, weekly totals such as sessions, volume, PR days and your streak, and progress toward your weekly goals.

Recovery readings are never on that card. They are shared only with the friends you choose, one friend at a time, as the Privacy Policy explains. You can stop sharing at any time in Privacy & sharing, in the ☰ menu.

Do not use a display name, or post content, that identifies someone else or that you would not want another user to see.

Connected services

You can optionally connect Apple Health, an Oura Ring or a WHOOP. These are your accounts, governed by their own terms, and either service may change or withdraw access at any time. If that happens, the related features in Forge Fitness stop working and that is outside our control.

Connections are read-only apart from Apple Health, where the app writes each workout you finish (its type, start time and length, never calories). You can disconnect at any time from the ☰ menu.

Beta software

Forge Fitness is currently distributed through TestFlight as beta software. It may contain defects, may lose data, and may change or stop working between builds. Do not rely on it as your only record of anything you would be upset to lose.

While Forge is in beta, a build may behave differently from what these terms and the Privacy Policy describe so that a feature can be tested, for example by sharing recovery with your friends by default. The notes for each build say what is different.

Paid features

Logging is free. Some features may require a paid subscription.

If and when paid tiers go live:

• Purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. We never see your payment details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies. We cannot issue them.
• Prices may change. You will be told before a change affects a renewal.
• Cancelling stops future billing. It does not delete your training data, which stays on your device.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
• Use it to harass another user, or to submit content that is unlawful or that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Attempt to access another person’s data, or interfere with the services the app depends on.

We may withdraw access to the Friends leaderboard from anyone misusing it.

Age

Forge Fitness is intended for teens and adults and is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 18, please use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

The app is provided as-is

Forge Fitness is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its calculations will suit any particular person or purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, for lost data, or for injury arising from training decisions you make while using the app.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, this page is updated and the effective date revised. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Ending your use

You can stop using Forge Fitness at any time by deleting the app. We may stop distributing or supporting the app, or discontinue it, at any time.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
